Water Systems Upgrade
The Town of Minto was faced with inadequate water supply and storage facilities in the communities of Clifford, Harriston and Palmerston, as well as the need to upgrade aging infrastructure to meet new Provincial water regulations. BMROSS was retained for several projects aimed at addressing these problems including:

  • Construction of a new 1,275 m3 elevated water storage tank in Clifford
  • Construction of a new 1,900 m3 elevated water storage tank in Harriston
  • Construction of a new 2,500 m3 elevated water storage tank in Palmerston
  • Construction of a new well supply (2 wells) and treatment facilities in Clifford
  • Construction of a new well supply and treatment facilities in Harriston
  • Construction of a new backup well supply in Palmerston
  • Development of a central monitoring system for all of the Town's municipal water systems
  • Upgrades to existing well supplies to increase treatment effectiveness, quality control, and system pressures
