The Municipality of Lambton Shores has initiated a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) process to develop a Stormwater Servicing Master Plan for the Community of Forest. The Master Plan will inventory and evaluate existing stormwater facilities within the developed service area and investigate the most cost effective and efficient manner to provide stormwater servicing, where required, within the established and future development areas.

A Notice of Commencement has been issued to formally announce the initiation of this project. This includes the opportunity for public involvement. A Stormwater Drainage Questionnaire has been published to gather feedback from local residents and stakeholders. When completed, the Master Plan will recommend a stormwater servicing strategy that could be implemented in phases, within the established study area, as well as recommending best practices and strategies for addressing stormwater servicing that will provide solutions to gaps that incorporates growth and climate.
