Andrew Garland - Vice President

Andrew is the Vice President of BMROSS and leads the Water, Wastewater & Solid Waste Group. He has experience in a wide range of project types and complexities in the fields of potable water treatment and distribution, wastewater collection and treatment, and solid waste management. His projects have included infrastructure performance and capacity assessments to help municipal clients understand current opportunities and constraints, Master Plans and Class Environmental Assessments to help plan for future needs, and detailed design for new facilities as well as upgrades for existing ones.

Andrew holds an Envision Sustainability Professional designation from the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure, and is a member of the American Water Works Association - Ontario Section and Water Environment Federation.

Andrew believes it is important to appreciate the uniqueness of each community in which he works, and to strongly engage in the community where he lives. He has been actively involved in various activities, including running weekly children’s programs, coaching basketball, mentoring incarcerated youth, and serving on the board of his church. He likes to consider himself an outdoorsman, and whether or not he truly deserves that title you will often find him enjoying some outdoor pursuit in our wonderful part of Ontario.
