We are seeking an Intermediate Municipal Technologist to support our Mt. Forest office. The successful candidate will provide municipal engineering support for a variety of municipal infrastructure projects with a special focus on horizontal infrastructure and construction contract administration.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing drawings, plans, specifications and other documents relating to water, wastewater, road and stormwater infrastructure.
- Interpret contract documents, including plans and specifications
- Collaborate and interact with internal and external project team members during pre-design, design, and construction phases of projects.
- Keep records of construction activities and participate in site-meetings.
Qualifications
- A minimum of five years relevant experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office software
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to support their technical skills
- Must be a certified member of OACETT.
- Civil Engineering Technology diploma or Construction Technology diploma
- Must possess a valid Ontario Class G license and licensed vehicle
