We are looking for a civil engineering technologist for the following position: 

  • Structural Technologist/Technician

We have an opening for a Technician / Technologist in our Structural group to work on building, bridge, and harbour infrastructure projects in Ontario out of our Goderich, Kincardine, or Mount Forest office. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication abilities to support their technical skills.  Graduation from a 2 or 3 year post-secondary civil engineering technology education program is mandatory, as well as the ability to be a certified member of OACETT within 5 years.  Candidates are also required to have a valid G license and reliable transportation.

Job Requirements:

Required

  • Post Secondary Diploma (2 or 3 year) in civil engineering technology
  • Ability to be a certified member of OACETT within 5 years
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and municipal/provincial standards
  • Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Additional Assets

  • Familiarity and experience using field survey equipment (GPS, total stations) 
  • Previous work on municipal infrastructure projects
