Harbour Street is a narrow road which leads from the business core of the community of Kincardine to the Harbour area. The Municipality wanted to provide a unique connection that would encourage pedestrian traffic between the core and the harbour. Several utilities including an old sanitary sewer were to be replaced and the road was to be completely reconstructed.
Working closely with a committee of local citizens, municipal staff, and a landscape architect, BMROSS completed a design that resulted in the construction of an attractive, winding road through landscaped areas on both public and private property. This project has successfully created a link between the business section of the town and the busy tourist attraction of the Harbour.
