REBUILDING DOWNTOWN INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT

Sealed tenders addressed to Andrea Fisher, Director of Legislative Services/Clerk, Town of Goderich, 57 West Street, Goderich, Ontario, N7A 2K5, will be received until:
1:59:59 p.m., Friday April 4th, 2025
The work includes:
• Reconstruction of the Courthouse Square in Goderich (To be completed in Phases)
• Maintaining good access for vehicular and pedestrian traffic throughout Construction
• 9,000 m3 of earth excavation
• 9,000 tonnes of Granular A
• 11,600 tonnes of Granular B Type I
• 1260 tonnes of hot mix asphalt in 2025
• 780 tonnes of hot mix asphalt in 2026
• 1660 tonnes of hot mix asphalt in 2027
• 3400 m2 of standard concrete sidewalk and pads
• 1000 m2 of coloured patterned concrete pads
• 1500 m of concrete curb and gutter
• 187 linear metres of 300 mm diameter storm sewer
• 727 linear metres of 200 and 250 mm diameter sanitary sewer
• 825 linear metres of 150 mm to 250 mm diameter watermain
• Installation of servicing to inside the buildings
• Installation of Silva Cell Systems
• Street light pole and fixture replacements
• Custom concrete planters
• Landscaping and Electrical items
Digital plans, specifications and tender forms may be obtained by registering as a Plan Taker with the office of the undersigned.
A certified cheque or bid bond in the amount of $250,000 must accompany each bid.
The bidders shall submit the information required in the CONTACTOR EVALUATION SECTION.
The lowest price bid or any bid will not necessarily be awarded. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all tenders and to award to other than the lowest bidder as the interests of the Owner may require.
